Welcome! The Rainbow Cross Ministry is now A New Creation Ministry.
A New Creation Ministry's purpose is to be a witness to the world that freedom and change from the confusion of sexual identity is possible through a personal, ongoing relationship with Jesus Christ.
The Ministry began with Rob who, living as a homosexual, became interested in a devoted Christian man (who had no idea that Rob was homosexual) and, in the hope of having a “friendship” with him, began going to church with him.
There Rob heard the message of Salvation: that all mankind lives in a fallen state and falls short of the standard that God requires; but Jesus Christ, God’s only son, died in our place, for our sins, to bridge the gap between God and man, and then rose from the dead on the third day. Only by putting our faith in Him can we be cleansed from our sin and live the life of freedom and fellowship that God desires for us.
Rob did exactly that and asked Jesus into his life at Harvest Christian Fellowship on Christmas Eve, 1995.
Afterwards, Rob spent time reading his bible and growing in a personal relationship with Christ, totally empty of same sex desires; however, after a year, some of those desires returned. Rob looked for help, but there was no Ministry for his type of need. A member of the staff at Harvest encouraged him, and gave him the thought of a Ministry that would help others with similar needs. After much faith and prayer the Rainbow Cross Ministry was begun (now called A New Creation Ministry) with the goal of reaching out and helping others like himself.
God sent his son Jesus to die on the cross for the sins of all mankind; this includes those with same-sex attraction. “"For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16). Jesus died for YOU! Though some have erroneously and tragically used this as a message of condemnation, God offers the cross as a message of salvation, and the start of a personal, life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ.
Our hope and prayer as you visit this Ministry is that we can help you to fully understand what God has to say, and offer, to you and your own needs.
